Megan is a Speech-Language Pathologist who received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from The University of Virginia. She is a member of the American Speech- Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Megan, a third generation educator, served as a Project Coordinator at the UVA Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences before returning to graduate school to pursue a degree in Communication Disorders. She has experience working with children and adults with varying diagnoses and neurotypes, specializing in Autism, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity, Expressive/Receptive Language, Social Communication, in private clinics, public and private schools, and acute care/rehabilitation hospitals.
Her client and family centered practice focuses on strengthening executive functions and social cognitive communication skills to enhance independence, promote better relationships, and improve quality of life across contexts.
Megan founded The SEED Collective to share her passion for development of social communication and executive skills, provide a place for play and community, and to help implement functional strategies for clients with unique learning styles in direct collaboration with other professionals, creating true wrap around services.
